Why Upgrade Your Downlights?
LED downlights generally use less power than older halogen-style lights, and give a brighter, more modern look.
The Electrical Safety Office notes that insulation in the roof should be checked to make sure it isn't covering electrical fittings, especially downlights. While I'm in there, I'll check this.
Replacing light fittings is electrical work, and in Queensland it must be done by a licensed electrician.
